I am proud to say that every Nasty Baby quilt is an original art piece made with love and intention. All embroidery is done by hand, and no two quilts are the same. Inspiration comes from paradigm shifting literary works, nature, current events, and an inner voice saying it’s time to stand up, be represented, and shift our world into balance and healing. The designs that flow from my heart and through my hands always end up with the right baby. ALWAYS. I have come to trust that. I love to hear stories about blankets finding their babies. Nasty Baby is a BIPOC, woman veteran owned small business. I lift up and celebrate voices and experiences that need to be heard, especially those silenced due to colonization and/or a history of social injustice. I collaborate with other businesses who share these values. I appreciate the investment of handmade goods as a way to honor creativity, share beauty, provide for family, and create partnerships that build strong communities.

We model these principles so our children will grow up to know themselves, love themselves, and walk liberation forward for future generations.
